    File Preparation


    Please follow these guidelines to ensure that your print order will be completed quickly and save you money:

    BEST FILE TYPE: PDF saved at a Setting/Preset: HIGH QUALITY PRINT. This will embed special or corporate fonts and will prevent file-to-printer issues with images.

    "Why should I do this"?

    We strive to ensure that all projects are completed in the time promised, but just as importantly, we pay the utmost attention to accuracy.

    When you properly prepare your files and provide accurate information with your order, it serves to not only expedite the production process, but also saves in your overall cost as a result of this efficiency.

    File Preparation

    This step is an add-on service charge per file that ensures accurate production.
    • $2.75/file - PDF, Jpeg, Tiff files
    • $4.75/file - FILE CONVERSION: PowerPoint and Word. All files will need to be converted before production and this service will be added to your invoice.
    • *Excel file: $7.75/tab (worksheet) RESIZING PREP: Necessary for preparing file for PDF conversion. If you do not specify which tabs to print then we will print all of them in the file. We will do everything possible to follow your instructions yet there may be a file that requires the PDF to be created from your computer since it has the precise formatting information needed for printing.
    • $12.50/$25/$50/file -- GRAPHIC file: Depends on complexity; a graphic designer’s time is needed for this step. All Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop originated files (EPS) will need conversion before production and this service will be added to your invoice. Please note that we are PC-based due to the platform of our machinery.
    • NOTE: "Fit to Page" will be used (All file types) if text is closer than 1/8" to edge of page.

    TERMS
    Due to the nature of the custom products and services, we do not charge the payment entered at the time the order is submitted. If you authorized Parachuting Penguins to keep your credit card for future orders then please verify the card that will be used for billing before submitting your order. If you would like to use an alternate form of payment, you must note it in the "Additional Information" at the time of your order and have another form of payment at the time of pickup. We will process your credit card if no other payment form is provided.

    By securing your order with a credit card you agree to assume all responsibility and willingness to pay for this order and/or any outstanding invoices on the account. You will be responsible for all costs incurred in the collection process of past due balances including attorney's fees.

    This service provides comprehensive project management for your entire presentation. We handle everything from confirming your appointment, making sure all product has been received and is properly stored, transporting product to your appointment, and handling product presentation on your behalf.

    All of our personnel are courteous and professionally attired because we know that our service is a direct reflection on your company as well as our own.

    Afterwards we are responsible for ensuring that the work station has been cleaned so that the final impression your buyer has is entirely positive. We also provide a full report on the presentation to you by email or phone as soon as we return to our office-if not sooner.

    Administrative and consulting time (verifying appointments, confirming information with buyers or the kitchen staff necessary for the meeting) is only billed at $40/hr.

    Our experienced assistants are available to help you in every possible way to prepare for your presentation. They can assist with set up, service, as well as clean up. All of our personnel are courteous and professionally attired.

    Our mission is to take as much stress out of the process as possible so that you can concentrate on your presentation and ensure that it runs smoothly.

    When the presentation has concluded, we can clean up which can free you up to spend more time with your buyer, meet with other members of your team to recap, or simply catch your flight.

    In the case where your travel suddenly conflicts with attending the meeting, we are also ready to handle everything per your direction.

    If you are planning on coming to Bentonville and working in person, but need someone on the ground here to follow up or gather additional information, this would be the appropriate service for you.

    Our extensive dealings with both Walmart and Sam's Club is available to you to help make your trip here a success.
    For those times when your meeting will be held away from a kitchen facility and you need plates, service wear, a competing product for comparison, virtually anything, we are ready to help.

    This service can be utilized with other services that we offer or contracted separately.
    All time for full service and assistance is billed by rounding to the next half hour. Administrative services are billed accumulatively. Hourly charges are per person, and only one person will be assigned to a project unless directed otherwise.
    Formatting files for production generally ranges from $15 - $30. If more work is required beyond this charge, you will be notified beforehand. We will try to accurately estimate any necessary work before it is begun based on a quick overview of your files. If you have indicated that your files have been correctly formatted to print within the margins of the paper selected. We will print exactly as presented. You are responsible for all prints produced from these files regardless of whether the print parameters are ultimately correct or not. Any files requiring additional design time will be charged at normal design rates and customer will be notified prior to this work being started.

    If Parachuting Penguins feels that your files are not set up correctly and we cannot quickly format your file(s) to match your indicated options, then we will not print until we have contacted you. At that time, you can choose to resubmit your files after corrections have been made, or authorize us to make necessary corrections for a set charge which will be discussed with you at that time. Please make sure we have a phone number that we can reach you or a colleague at up until 11pm Central Time.
    If you proceed without logging in you will have to enter all contact information and it will not be saved. We offer this selection for those who do not wish to open an account and don�t think that they will be sending additional packages in the future.

    If you believe that you will be using this service in the future we recommend that you create an account profile so that your basic contact information will be auto-populated for all future transactions.

    When a specific delivery time is selected our team will do everything possible to make your delivery at that time. As part of this process it is our policy to call the recipient once the package has been received and confirm the delivery time. If the recipient requests a different delivery time, we will comply with that request.

    Time sensitive deliveries can only satisfied once we have possession of the package and contact has been made with the receiver. If a requested time is effected by a late delivery from your courier (FedEx, UPS, etc), or we cannot make contact with the receiver, we will contact you to obtain updated delivery instructions.
    2-DaySaver�

    This option is a great way to save money when you have time available. Your project will be completed within two business days.

    Specific time preferences are not available with this feature due to the efficiencies necessary to provide this pricing.
    These pictures will be quick digital images and not studio quality. The base price for this service is for 15 minutes of labor. If your samples require additional time, your billing will be prorated at the hourly rate of $35/Hour for the additional time. All additional charges will be reflected on the final invoice.
    Please enter the information for all packages included in this shipment. By clicking the titles below you can add handling information for climate controled and non-climate controled packages coming in the same shipment.
    If this option is selected as 'yes', and you have provided the email address for your contact person receiving the delivery, our system will generate an email message announcing when and where the delivery is scheduled to be made per your instructions.

    This notification lets the recipient know that we are delivering on your behalf as well as the date and the location that the delivery can be expected-barring any transportation issues or delays in transit.

    The recipient can also reroute the delivery to another location or notify us of a better date/time based on their availability. You will also be updated if any of your delivery instructions have been modified for any reason.
    Q: I do not see my file when I try to select it?
    A: Your file type may not be an accepted format. Please see the list of accepted file types

    Q: My uploader will only allow me to add 5 files or is branded by YouSendIt
    A: Please install Flash Player or Silverlight in order to access the updated uploader

    Q: What if I add the wrong file?
    A: You may click the button to remove a file from the queue

    Q: How many files can I upload at once?
    A: There is no limit to the number of files but you may only upload up to 2GB in total size

    Q: Why can I not upload a ZIP file?
    A: Unfortunately, our system cannot monitor what types of files are included in a ZIP. Fortunately you can select as many files as needed to send in one upload.

    Step by Step Instructions

    1. Click "Select / Add Files" button at the bottom left of the uploader
    2. When the file selection screen appears select the file or files that you need and click "Open"
      • This should add the file to the upload queue
    3. Once you are sure you have added all necessary files to the queue then you may click "All Files Selected � Add to cart"
      • This will begin the upload process.
      • Once the upload is complete you will be redirected to the cart
    4. Once you are in the cart screen you may select another item from the menu on the left or you can click the blue "Continue" button to complete your order
    5. You will complete the payment page as the last step, we will not receive the files until this has been completed
      • Look out for your email confirmation. When you receive your confirmation we receive the order.
